Ordinary vs. Exceptional

Mediocre sucks! But, then again, there are people who fit in quite well. These people really feel at home. They do not have a care about their lifestyle. If you are one of these people, wow! I guess you are very comfortable taking whatever **** that is thrown at you. Good for you.

If you have no idea what mediocre is, buy a dictionary and keep it close. You can also use Google or get any other awesome online dictionaries. If your language is complicated, like Chinese, Cantonese, e.t.c, a slew of weird things on paper (I should learn that language), worry not. I do like you and your weird language, but I can’t understand what you are saying or writing.
I guess life has to have variety. If everyone was exceptional, chaos would be an everyday affair!
There must be people who form the cream of society and the rest. Where are you?
If you are ordinary, you are also important. Everyday ordinary things keep chaos far away. Ordinary defines order.
Exceptional cannot be without ordinary. That’s why so many areas of life have ordinary and exceptional. It is difficult to separate the two.
Somewhere somebody is thinking you are ordinary. Think better of yourself.
You are better of, not being a slave to other people’s thoughts. Feel free to be. Why enslave yourself?
My point is, be exceptional. Be the best that you can be. Don’t follow others without a plan. Be the real you and you will become exceptional. I have realized that people really want to conform so that they’ll be accepted. You are not respecting yourself. You will be accepted more if you were the real you.
By the way, I am not telling you to be obnoxious. No!
That deserves a whole post. It is so gross! It is also not okay … no!
I think obnoxious people just have bad habits from deeply seated issues. These issues may or may not be emotional. These issues need to be solved ASAP! It is not okay to be obnoxious.
If being obnoxious is the real you, you are a broken toy. You can’t be helped unless a divine someone steps in!
And don’t tell me about growing up. You should learn! It is not an option.
Let me stop there. I take this issue personally!
So, next time you want to be like someone in your neighborhood, consider that you two are different and there is no way you can be the same.
You don’t want to be like someone, you want to be unique, exceptional and very good at it.
Pressure? Oh, it is so there. But does it matter?
It will only matter if you concentrate on it. If you concentrate on it, you are losing focus.
Focus will help you achieve whatever it is you want. Don’t let your eyes off the goal. No matter the pressure.
Go against the tide. You will be tired. You will want to give up. I guess this is where you tell yourself that the end justifies the means. Mind you, this statement is not usually right. So, your frequent use of it doesn’t make it right at all times.

But, whatever you need will be right there when you arrive. Dare to be different. Different is good.
Appreciate who you are and appreciate others. Then only, can you begin to feel exceptional. Ordinary will just make you a cliché among 7 billion.
And, who wants that?
