What happens if your beliefs clash with the real life?
Nobody has an answer and you find yourself between worlds. Both worlds work for
you. Okay with a few compromises of course, in both areas. Do you throw your
beliefs to the dogs ad embrace the real life or do you stick with your beliefs through
thick or thin and forego life?
You know, you should do what you can and forget what you can’t.
Remember the serenity prayer? This calls for serious wisdom. These are the
times I wish I were Solomon.
I’ve not had such hard decisions to make. This is my first
and it is haard! But, I think I know what to do. Admitting it is the hard bit.
Previously, other people made decisions for me. I won’t say
I liked them. You honestly cannot assume you know what is good for me without
asking for my input. That’s just crazy!
Whatever is good for me, I voice it out loud. It is hard to
hide what you like. It becomes a festering wound that needs to be removed. This
wound is what turns out to be major flaws if ignored.
People won’t understand major flaws. And they shouldn’t. They
just won’t! Yeah, your momma can but that does not make it right. Moms are just
out of this world! For real!
In the end, your life
will tell your tale.
Mistakes happen, but that does not mean you keep excusing
yourself in the name of mistakes. No! Learn and move on.
You will be tolerated for a while. The rest of the time, you
will be paying for your crimes in one way or another. Who needs that? We all
want forgiveness.
Anyway, I’m not delegating decision making duties anytime
soon. I am talking about personal decisions. Everyone has them. If you don’t have
decisions to make, good luck in the world. I’ll decide and choose what is good
for me. In the end, it is so worth it. This is a burden I am willing to bear. I think the first step is just hard, but it
becomes easier as you go on.
Sometimes people can be shallow. What do you need? Not what
do you want? Need vs wants. On most occasions, our wants are very shallow. They
are influenced by shallow things. Well, life is not like that, my friend. You
have to choose and decide what’s good for your life otherwise you are just
another drop in the ocean.
I have realized there will always be a better deal unless
what you have is ordained. If it is not ordained, you and the wind have no
difference. You will sway until you want to give up. Stand up for something or
fall for anything.
Not everything is good for you. No matter how attractive.
Ask yourself whether anything you desire is worth it. If
not, why bother?
Needs on the other hand, are valid. I’m yet to see needs that
are not valid. They are the reason you are alive. Needs such as healthy foods
allow you to see many days. Without health, you’ll wish you were dead! It is
very easy to live strong and healthy. Most people don’t get it, but that does
not refute the truth.
Well, I’m not saying you become a fanatic, but mind
yourself. You gotta love what you are.
