An apple a day …

I just bit into an apple and I think my teeth are somewhere in the apple!
By the way, this apple quote, is it true? Or the author meant fruits in place of apples?
Apples produce gas. They make you bloat! They look good, but for me, there is a “but”.
If it’s your thing, by all means enjoy it.
Don’t let this post discourage you; eat your apple, my friend.
I have read of some sticky substance on our fruits and I’m not comfortable eating the skins anymore. I prefer to peel most of my fruits.
I know doctors will disagree.
I’d rather die from peeled fruit that from whatever substance that coats the skin. Unless, of course, the fruit is home grown. That, I can trust. Even the taste is original. GMO’s have a fabricated taste. Actually, tasteless is more like it.
Now, that brings me to another question.
Are these chefs in cook books cooking GMO’s? Of course they won’t tell but tasty as that food is, is it authentic? As in GMO-less!
I think this discussion deserves a post by itself.
Now, on apples;
I’m not picking on apples. They just crossed my mind.
I should do more research on apples.

Unfortunately, you can’t peel an apple without it turning black or brown or some weird color unless you apply vinegar or something to fight oxidation.
And who wants their teeth irritated when they bite a fruit?
By the way, salad without vinegar is just bland, but you will pay through a visit to the dentist!
Enjoy the visit!
I’m dreading mine.
An apple is like a banana. Once peeled, you need to eat it otherwise, shock on you!
Apples! SMH!
I know someone who loves them. Personally, I don’t care for them. I definitely don’t eat them daily. Otherwise I think every day would be a bloated day!
It is a bad phobia. I know.
About bloating, I should ask this person whether they sense it or the book on nutrition lied. Anyway, I can’t base my decision on one person. Honestly, it won’t make a difference! I should look for more apple-lovers.
In truth, I won’t. I mean, it is not important in any way to me.
But, then apples were created for some specific people. That group does not include me!
Otherwise, apples would brighten my day. They don’t. And they absolutely can’t!
I don’t hate them, but then again, I don’t crave them.
Whether I ingest them or not, it doesn’t matter. Gas or no gas! I eat them when I absolutely have to. I mean, there are so many nice fruits. Who said apples top the list?
Speaking of topping the list, not everything that glitters is golden!
Yeah, you want to say gold. C’mon, you can’t eat gold! Even those people who eat metals don’t eat gold. They’ll die!
And the tomb would have a headstone epitaph that says “so and so died of eating gold!”
Now, that’s a tomb that will make me laugh even when I want to cry. Forgive me. I know that’s just wrong!
I think whoever came up with this quote had eaten very many apples because they were the only fruit available at the time. I’m sure there are people who have never seen an apple in their life. It is true! Don’t laugh.
Otherwise, even another fruit a day does keep the doctor away. It’s the secret to fruits. We ignore them, but they give us a very good habit.
It is fruits. Not just an apple!
So whoever came up with an “an apple a day…” quote should revise it! He needs to consider global warming… and other valid fruits …
By the way, I don’t hate apples. I don’t like them either, but I can eat them.
Sorry, apples;  you are just like any other fruit to me. The difference is; I like other fruits more!
